After a step frustrated by Ninh Binh, where we stayed a couple of nights waiting for a ray of sun to come out and to be able to go on an excursion to some of the surrounding natural attractions, we decided that it was almost impossible mission and we took the train on the way to Hanoi. We had already noticed how the cold got into our bones at the previous stop, but when we reached the great capital of Vietnam we realized that winter had already arrived!

We who in our 7 kilos of luggage had discarded the idea of being warm and we only wore a fleece and a sweatshirt, we had to make some extra purchase to withstand the 10 degrees and humidity of the place. Normal that in the end I fell with fever a couple of nights. But the best remedy was undoubtedly the soups of the dinner, although they left us half drugged, we don't know what the secret ingredient will be ... after realizing that what left us in that state was the soup, we changed the beach bar .

We also had the opportunity to try the dog, but we didn't do it 😛. The truth is that we only saw him exposed in a restaurant, and it was not very easy to decipher that he was a dog, since he lacked his head, better to see the photo (not suitable for sensiblones).

Hanoi would be our base to visit Halong Bay first, and then go north to see the landscapes of Sapa. We spent the days walking around the lake, visiting emblematic monuments such as the impressive Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, street markets or enjoying the wonderful puppet theater show, it was very cool! All this trying not to die hit by any of the thousands of motorcycles that circulate in every way.

Transport. How to get to Hanoi?

Train from Ninh Binh to Hanoi cost 80,000 dongs, we believe that in worse class you can get cheaper, but it was the first one the girl gave us. It takes 2.5 hours.
